Hi Guys, im trying to create a metal batten (top hat type) into my wall tool to accept hebel paneling? any tips on how to achieve this?

We currently don’t have a top hat type profile but what I would recommend is to create a batten material in the current Batten field with the desired parameters. This way the wall dimensions will be correct when the batten is used (it’ll appear like the current battens) & it’ll estimate as normal in the 
Takeoff Tool.
Tip: Make sure to name the material as a “top hat” so it appears as such throughout the software (excluding the actual geometry).
In the aim to reducing poly count and keep lower spec computers running efficently, we add/depict battens as rectangular prisms. You can create your own materials and sizes clicking “Create Material” .
… I say this now, however if we get enough users asking for particular improvements we will develop and add them into PlusSpec.
