Only 1 Side of the Wall forming when a creating a Wall Loop

Hi! I’m a new user here. I’d like to ask for your insights regarding missing walls when creating a wall loop. Only one side is forming, and I’m not sure why. Any tips?

I believe this is due to Dynamic Components not being enabled. If you follow the steps below it should resolve the issue.

  1. Select Extensions → Extension Manager.
  2. Make sure Dynamic Components are “enabled”. If it doesn’t, click the button to switch it to “enabled”, then click Apply Changes.
  3. Save the model to save the changes & close SketchUp. Note: This model can be discarded afterwards, so I’d recommend saving it on the desktop or somewhere easy to find.
  4. Open a new SketchUp model & the issue should be resolved when you try to draw walls.

Thank you for your response - unfortunately it does not work in my Sketchup that’s 2018 version. I’ve downloaded a latest sketchup version (free trial) and it works well there. However, since I only have Trial version of PlusSpecs - I want to confirm if this limits the estimating process like updating the price and such since its not working on my end. Thank you!

Why would you use Sketchup 18?
