I am trying to use the takeoff tool put an order together for the framing and each of my types of 2x material has come in a total Lin length. How do I solve the problem of breaking that total length down for Studs, plates and headers to give an order to the lumber company. I’m sure I missed a video But I’m unable to find it, can you please direct me to where I need to look. Thank you.
I have found the Advanced Framing tool and I think I’ll be able to solve my Problem with that.

You’re correct, enabling Advanced Framing in the 
Takeoff Tool will generate a BOQ that separates the materials via the the framing members. If you then click the Export Takeoff button, you can select one of the Advanced Framing export options which will generate a spreadsheet of all the items that can be sent to the lumber company.
If you ever need to specify a different top/bottom plate, change the corner junction configuration or adjust the start/end position of framing, you can do by using Advanced Framing Options. To access this feature, right-click on a wall & select + WALLS > Adv Framing Options.
