I’m working on a project using Nu-Wall aluminium cladding and I’m trying to figure out the best way to calculate the total linear meters (LM) required for the cladding in PlusSpec. Specifically, the boards I’m using are vertically installed 200mm wide. I want to be able to model my walls and automatically generate a bill of quantities that shows the total LM needed for the cladding, as well as the optimal amount of set lengths to order.
Additionally, since Nu-Wall aluminium boards can be ordered in any length, is there a way in PlusSpec to calculate the most efficient lengths to order based on the wall dimensions, to reduce waste and costs? Any tips on how to handle this efficiently would be greatly appreciated.
