I have noticed in the Advanced Framing Options, the overwrite tab for top & bottom plates only opens up the timber framing selections not metal framing selections.
I do a lot of internal & external partition framing which has different track plates to the studs.
Currently the Adv Framing Options dialog has only been set up to have options for timber framing but I’ll take it back to the development team for further discussion & see what could be done about adding options for metal framing.
