WINDOW INTO A GABLE END

Hi Guys,

Can you update wall or window tool to enable windows into gable end walls.
Currently working on a studio with a cathedral ceiling and needing to have windows in the gables.
The walls are 1800 high then with a gable to around 2750 high overall.

Hi Matt,

Currently you cannot not do this but you are able to do it manually using SketchUp tools and then using the BIM tool to make it estimate.

We have looked into it and have talked about implementing it into the software.

Thank you for posting this on the forum and if anyone has fast and efficient ways to do this manually we would love to here from you.

Hi Guys,

Problem solved. :smiley:

I split the originally drawn Gable end wall into 3 separate walls. End walls are edited to skillions, one left, one right but still at the original 1800 height.
The now middle wall is a Gable with a higher window head height (2400) with a wall height now at 3114.

Quicker than using Sketchup.

Still great if PlusSpec can add a Window in to a Gable in a future update though.
