I’ve fiddled with the window tool for a bit. When I tried to enable double headers, it doesnt generate any headers. Is this a bug?
please note that I’ve pressed submit to execute the dialog and it is still not working.
Is the wall set as load-bearing? Generally I have found that if it is set as Non Load bearing it will generate minimal frame as shown.

What Stan mentioned should be the reason for this (thanks for the assistance Stan 
). If you edit the wall, select one of the “yes” options from the ‘Load Bearing Wall’ field (shown in image below) & submit the changes the header should appear in the wall.
