Hi There
I’m not sure if this should be a suggestion or a question but here goes;
I am trying to draw a window that has two horizontal panes of differing widths. It always wants to default to equal widths. [I can do it Vertically]
It is common in my design work, yet I cant seem to find a way to do it without messing with the window components.
It would be great if a couple of additional parameters could be added to the custom window dialogue box to allow a few more configurations.
Whether they are opening or fixed doesn’t really matter, because that can be indicated via Layout.
Hi JamieX,
Thank you for your post.
Thank you for the suggestion. I will pass it onto the development team for further discussion.
What I would recommend to do is to to not insert the panes using the Edit Window Tool but instead draw the different size panes using SketchUp tools then creating the panes as a group or component and colour it to match the rest of the window. If you use the Sample Paint button in the SketchUp Paint Bucket Tool (it looks like an eye dropper) it will select the material you click on and you can then apply it where needed.
Would you be able to please let me know if this works for you?
