Another Take off suggestion here, concrete columns are almost always measured as items (including form/reo/bracing/stripping/concrete etc etc) for example;
A 500mm x 500mm concrete column would be circa $1800m3. ATM concrete columns are being measured with the nominal concrete m3 rate (i’m using a very rough $330m3 rate for this project) which equates to a $47k gap in column budget. It’s not a big issue, but it does demonstrate a level of diligence required when using takeoff.
On a positive side note, there isn’t a single estimator in this office that isn’t very concerned by this software
