Is there an opportunity in future releases to have the Layer menu added to the stair generation dialogue box? I would like to be able to isolate stairs in an easier way than creating a layer manually and then going into the stair object to reassign the items.

Currently, the stairs 
are placed on the “STAIR_GROUP” tag; we can add the functionality. I assume you mean like the one in the BIM tool?
In the interim, you can:

Set up a Scene that isolates the “STAIR_GROUP” TAG and save it as a template.

Change the Sketchup Tag manually in Entity info using the Drop down on the Right-hand Side

Set up a keyboard Shortcut for “Hide rest of model”

Use the Tag search function
