Skillion Roof Framing

Hey,

I created a skillion style roof with a pitch of 5deg and I wanted to add framing, I watched the following video and followed the instructions however i doesn’t work when I try it on my roof.

Hey Dean,

So there is no way to create framing with a skillion style roof? I can just draw in the rafters if need be.

Hi Nick,

Very sorry but I was wrong in what I said. The roof framing tool is compatible. Check instructions below for the procedure.

  1. Have your skillion roof drawn.

  1. Select the top face of your roof (see below)

  1. Now open your roof framing tool by going into Tools for Roofs and selecting the last option. Your roof framing tool will now open. Once open make your selected changes and then submit.

You will now see that your framing has appeared.

Yes that seemed to work, half of the rafters are missing unfortunatly but it’s a step in the right direction!
