can someone please explain why when creating a material, the texture doesn’t come through and I am left with a material that I can’t use. I have tried making it two times and both times it has not worked.
@user49 I am not sure why this has happened. Did you drag and drop the material into Sketchup on a Windows machine or use the Sync tool?

I’m guessing your Kliplok material name synced, yet the texture did not. First, I would close and reopen Sketchup and re-run the Sync until it states it is complete ( you need a stable internet connection).
Here is a TIP for everyone looking for more materials:
A public library of materials comes with all PlusSpec user subscriptions. So before spending time creating a material, search the library first. NOTE: you can filter by country.
There is some great and not-so-great content (like the 3D warehouse), so check it for accuracy. Sometimes, I use the Sketchup material editor or Faststone capture to fix a material. Export and recreate, or if it is okay, I use the Edit tag & BOQ category to help me organise the information inside my BOQ.
