Issue when exporting/importing recipes or vendor info – software freezes

Hi everyone,

I’m having a recurring issue in PlusSpec. Whenever I try to export or import any recipes, or when I modify vendor information, the software freezes completely. The only way I can continue working is by closing and reopening the program each time.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Do you know what might be causing it or if there’s a fix/workaround?

I also haven’t experienced this issue before. I just tested several parts of the takeoff that can import & export but I didn’t come across any issue as well. Below are some questions I have regarding your issue.

  1. Does it happen when importing, when exporting or for both?
  2. Which recipes are you trying to import/export?
  3. What vendor info did you modify or try to modify?
  4. Does it happen for small models (e.g. just one wall)?

Would you also be able to please send a video to support@plusspec.com showing the issue & steps you took to get it? It may shed some extra light on what could be causing the issue. Thanks in advance.
