Hi Can anyone help me. I am trying to put a gable roof on my drawing I have the trusses but cant work out how to choose the roof covering or how to build the gable ends.

To add a gable end to your hip roof what you’ll need to do is to draw a hip roof first the select the Edit Roof Pitch/Gable Tool :roof-pitch-tool: . Once you’ve selected this tool left-click on the side of the roof you want to change into a gable (the face will turn red when you hover over it) and a dialog will appear. In the dialog enter either 90 (if ‘Degrees’ is selected) or 1:0 (if ‘Pitch/Ratio’ is selected) into the ‘Pitch’ field, then press Submit and the roof will change.
If you’re ever not sure how to do something or use a tool, in our tool dialogs there is an orange icon that appears in the top right corner which will take you to a playlist that has explanatory videos that are relative to the tool you’re in.
