Any thoughts of having a posting.php?mode=post&f=11#floor joist SPLIT utility similar to the wall split tool. This would come in handy when having to partly demolish or change only part of existing flooring.

We have added this to our list but it will not be done for a while. Currently you can still do this.
Just use 2 different faces before drawing your joists.
