There is some bugs/errors when using my materials . The image shows the material showing black even though thats not colour applied to that custom material.
The second image shows the rafter tool . It shows no custom LVL materials in the rafter select but shows them in the Hip Ridge Select

I’m not able to replicate the issues you’ve mentioned. Are you using the latest version (v24.4) & have you synced your materials recently using the 
Sync Tool? These may resolve the issues you’re having.

Share Library Tool & copy the code at the top of the dialog.
