creating custom walls - double insulation

Hiya,

I’m trying to create a custom wall which is 300mm thick, the components are as follows.

M01 - 48mm - metal sheet
M87 - 25mm - wall batten
M86 - 102mm - zed section between wall batten and studwork
M14 - 80mm - layer of insulation under zed section
M12 - 8mm - sarking
M13 - 100mm - layer of insulation between studwork
M11 - 15mm - top hat
M02 - 10mm - gyprock

Please find a wall section attached. If you could instruct me on the best way to create this wall to get the most accurate price for construction that would be great, If you need any further information please let me know, thanks :slight_smile:

Hi Terina,

Currently this is not possible to be automatically done in PlusSpec. It is on our to do list and will arrive but currently the only way to do this is to use a ‘Brick Veneer’ wall and manually edit the wall. Not as time efficient but will still estimate correctly.
