Create wall from vignette

I have a vignette I want to use to create the slab with footings, walls, and roof system.
Unlike in the plus spec tutorials, once I right click on the my vignette wall, I don’t have the option to create a similar wall?

Not sure what I am missing?

Hi user86,

The “create similar wall” option will only appear if the right selection criteria is met (i.e. it’s a valid wall drawn using the :wall_tool: Wall Tool).

Here are some possibilities for why the option isn’t appearing for you. Are any of these the case for the issue you’re having?

  1. The wall is nested inside of another group & the group is being right-clicked instead of the wall itself.
  2. The wall has been exploded & possibly regrouped.
  3. The geometry being selected isn’t a wall drawn via the :wall_tool: Wall Tool (e.g. manually drawn geometry).

I assume it’s inside a group or component? If so double click to open the container, then right click and create similar.

or explode the parent component or group.
