Cannot add wall

Support General Help With PlusSpec

Hi, on my model from early 2023, and sketchup 2022, I can not add a new wall, change a wall, modify windows, and struggle with some roofs. What can I do?
I did:

  • sync,
  • restart sketchup…

Nothing is working…

Hi Jean-Michel,

I was able to edit/change windows in the model you sent across when using the latest PlusSpec version. I’m not sure what could be causing this issue without replicating it, however here are some other things I can recommend trying:

  • Reinstall PlusSpec.
  • Reinstall SketchUp (you should be able to just select “repair” in the SketchUp installer).
  • Restore PlusSPec to the factory default settings (go to ‘Extensions > PlusSpec > Restore Factory Default’ & click OK).
  • Restart your computer.

If the issue persists after doing these, can you please send a quick video of the issue to info@rubysketch.com? If we can’t diagnose the issue from that then we may need to schedule a time to log into your computer to try & diagnose the issue.
