I’m trying to BIM 2 different objects and assign them to the same layer. However, although I have named them differently, these objects are under the same name in the takeoff, and are not recognised as 2 differently named objects. For every additional object that I BIM and place on the same layer, the takeoff shows that the total number of BIM objects increases, without there being an additional name and row for the other BIM objects.
Is there a way to assign 2 or more differently named (BIM’D) objects to the same layer, and have them recognised in the takeoff as different objects?
