Allowing for Plant Hire and quantifying in SketchUp with PlusDesignBuild

Did you know you can associate a cost to Plant hire using the BIM tool? I usually add the hourly rate and the minimum hire in the quantity section.

1. select a group or components inside Sketchup
2. Click the BIM tool or right-click the object and fill in the details you require in your estimate
3. Add the quantity of hour you require the Plant for
4. Add the hourly rate
5. To check you got it correct: Right-click the object and use the +Takeoff selection only, and search for the name in the search box inside the BOQ
